After 5 days of intense climbing and studying the text, we got a nice break! The dead sea experience was quite unique. I vividly remember the frustration of trying to wade in the water and my feet wouldn't stay down. After several swimming trips to the bank to get my feet down, I decided its a law that's greater then my strength. Great parallel to the book of Romans.
Always enjoyed the devotionals in the morning when we gathered in a circle in front of the hotel. If I remember correctly, Lewis had devotions by himself one morning!?

By then people started peering out the hotel windows. But we didn't care, did we? I mean the whole world should be jealous of us. (disciple strut?)
Wow, sometimes the heat and aching legs seem so far away, but I hope the heat is still intense in my heart and the hearts of my family as well! I think maybe I'm beginning to really be ok with AND to like the disciple "strut".=)
