This morning we headed to the east side of the sea of Galilee. This place is called Gamla. Here a very sad war was fought. Who did battle here? Who was the traitor? What sect of people died here? History tells us a large stream of blood flowed down this mountain during a horrific battle that wiped out the whole sect of Jewish people. How long did the battle last? You guys remember this?

Gamla - Be Can'ah for God. Wow another intense day, we learned of the story of a man named Matthew Joseph who when trapped rigged the straws so each man killed another one and he had the last straw so he alone remained alive and then he surrendered to the Roman army and later being adopted by the Emperor as his own son and being renamed Josephus Flavius. Standing on the mountainside I could feel the pain and horror of seeing your people being slaughtered here. How can'ah am I for the Living God?
