After the Mt Arbel excursion, we took the bus over to the coasts of the sea of Galilee. After a lesson by the sea, we hiked this mini mountain called Aramas Toppos. Here is where they believe Jesus taught the beatitudes. After this we went to Chorazin and got to sit in Moses seat and listened to several teachings including the Jewish marriages. We then visited the birth place of two of Jesus disciples. Who were they?

wow! I just got to read about two months worth of blogs.....and it was wonderful to see the pictures and read all the comments. This probably won't make any sense, cause i am thinking about all the blogs before this too. The cloud of witnesses mentioned at Mt. Arbel was incredibly encouraging. how many people are encouraging me and keeping me going. it's awesome to have such supporters. and the story of the Arar tree...let's not be like that, but be like the tree planted by the waters! Thanks, Roy for doing this for us! I have been very encouraged today!
I believe that was Peter and Andrew. Philip was also from Bethsaida. Thanks for jogging my memory Roy. The pic of us down by the lake brings back this memory - we are following our rabbi and there's about 2-3 of us right close behind him and we come to the water's edge and RVL took off his hat and dipped it in the water, me being the "westerner" that I am asked, "should I do that too?" He replied, "If you want to, it's up to you." That taught me a very valuable lesson.
